Arrived in Nashville late afternoon and checked in at the hotel. Headed downtown for dinner.
Another street full of entertainment venues, this time country music. Just about every venue has a live band. It was hard to decide where to go. They all looked good.
Met up with a guy in a bar who suggested a couple of places that we “must see” because the country and western stars visit them frequently. We were not sure about this because the chance of either of us recognizing someone famous was pretty slim.
Mike reckoned he may recognize Dolly Parton. I couldn’t work out why as there is nothing in particular that stands out about her........but we had just had dinner at Hooters so maybe something there jogged his memory!!
We have decided to stay in Nashville for the 4th of July celebrations. We will head to the KOA caravan park outside town for a couple of nights then somewhere closer to town for the weekend.
Still having trouble loading photos.....will keep trying.
